Five it is

As anyone with half a sense for narrative structure is already well aware, Lost is indeed a five-season show. (Or as is even more obvious/likely, a 100-episode show.) That's really good news. I don't mean to keep harping on the point, but this week's episode really made me feel like I've got a sense of the whole picture for the first time. I get it, man, or at least I think I do, and after a bit more noodling, I will put my big reach down on cyberpaper.

More news from the front: I'm just so stupidly happy for the kid who's playing Luna Lovegood. Three years ago she was just a Harry Potter fan who wrote a letter to J.K. Rowling bemoaning the fact that she'd never get to play Luna because she was just a girl from Termonfeckin, and now look at her, all wanded up and ready to kick Death Eater ass. "Dream come true" don't begin to describe it. She must just be on top of the world.

Actually, wouldn't it make more sense that it was a 108 episode show? What with tying in with the numbers and all.....

Well it's now going to be 119, but point taken. :)

Maybe they get rescued in 108, with 11 episodes of hilarious antics back in the States?
