Does it really have to end like this?

Well, like this, like something else, it woulda been something. I ain't choosy.

I, for one, feel that the entire internet has grown a little bit smaller on this day. Momentous, sir, truly momentous.

and it ends with a double comment. how sad for me.

A comment so kind, it needed to be reiterated immediately.

Thank you. ;)

Um, you're like just taking a break right?

Well, from daily blogging, this is more than just a break. But the site, and the content on the site, will continue to move in interesting ways.

Or not, pending time availability and/or heaps of cash.

D'oh. I thought you pushed through the Blog Abandonment Barrier years ago...

Oh I did. That was stage 3. Now I'm in stage 6. Not sure what happens from here.

Glad you were still reading, though! Hadn't heard from you in a while.

Oh, this is traumatic! How will we ever cope?

Heh. That reminds me of when I closed surviv.org, I got a one-line email from a reader that said "But I can't live without surviv.org."

And I wrote back: "Sure ya can. People do it every day."

...I'm finding myself automatically checking in roughly as often as I always have, and am beginning to irritate myself. Any clues as to how long such a habit should take to break?

You're the second person this week to say something like that. In the shameless plugs department, I encourage you to modify your bookmark to either the tederick.com front page (which at least has my twitter feed) or my twitter page itself (twitter.com/tederick). Although comments here will remain open for a good long while and you never know who will drop by.
