From a Summer Place,
the Theme,

Reference Note: Paul Harvey is an American radio broadcaster.

Dialogue:

JASPER: "What have we become?"

Editor's Note: Jasper is mispainted in two of the exterior shots, wearing an orange vest, cyan shirt and navy pants.

Treehouse of Horror IV - No appearance, although the judge in the Court of the Damned seems to have Jasper's voice.

Marge on the Lam - No appearance

Bart's Inner Child - Jasper attends Brad Goodman's "Inner Child Workshop." When Brad initiates an audience chant of "Be Like the Boy," he throws it out to "the seniors in the back," but Jasper and his friends mangle the quote.

JASPER: "They are."

Editor's Note: Young Jasper's voice is noticeably higher in pitch than old Jasper's voice.

Jasper is walking by, and gets hit in the eye by a beam, momentarily curing him of his cataracts. A second beam renders him blind. Later, Jasper, Grampa and Malloy (the cat burgler) volunteer to help Homer guard the museum. Jasper is then spotted helping Grampa steal a small sculpture while they are "on a break."

JASPER: "Hmm... why bother votin'? He's guilty!"

JASPER: "Let's vote, my liver's failing."

JASPER (AND JURY): "Guilty!"

Reference Note: The dog from Frasier is named Eddie, an annoying Jack Russel Terrier whose real name is Moose. The dolphin from SeaQuest is called Darwin, who on the show is given the ability to talk by science fiction technology.

Editor's Note: This is a poor episode in terms of Jasper consistency. In one shot, his eyeballs are yellow; in another, he has no vest.

Lady Bouvier's Lover - Jasper attends the Seniors Swing Dance (his partner is unidentified). Later, after Mrs. Bouvier rejects Grampa's romantic advances, Jasper leads other Retirement Castle residents in an attempt to cheer Grampa by presenting him with a novelty cake concealing an elderly babe, who dies before she can pop out of the cake. Inexplicably, Jasper is later seen attending Mrs. Bouvier's wedding to Grampa's rival, Mr. Burns.
