JASPER: SEASON 6

Episodes:

Bart of Darkness - No appearance

Lisa's Rival - No appearance

Another Simpsons Clip Show - No appearance

Itchy & Scratchy Land - No appearance

Sideshow Bob Roberts - Jasper attends "Gripe at the Mayor Night" at the Retirement Castle, and becomes incensed with Mayor "Diamond" Joe Quimby. Later, he (and a group of other seniors) are wooed by mayoral candidate Sideshow Bob at the local Krusty Burger. Finally, Jasper can be seen riding shotgun in what appears to be a Model-T Ford driven by Grampa on the as-yet-uncompleted Matlock Expressway over the Simpsons home.

Dialogue:

GRAMPA: "What's in it for us?!"
JASPER: "Yeah, give us something we like or we'll ride out of town on a rail!"
QUIMBY: "Well, what do you, uh, people like?"
JASPER: "Sleep!"
OLD JEWISH MAN: "Sexy dames and plenty of 'em!"
GRAMPA: "Maaaaaaatlock!"

Reference Note: Matlock aired from 1986 to 1995, first on NBC, then ABC. Starring Andy Griffith, the series concerned elder Atlanta lawyer Ben Matlock's various criminal investigations, and appealed primarily to seniors.

Treehouse of Horror V - No appearance

Bart's Girlfriend - Jasper is one of the many townsfolk who chastise Bart repeatedly after he is accused of stealing from the Church collection plate. Later, he apologizes.

Dialogue:

JASPER: (out a car window) "Thief!"

JASPER: (through the treehouse window) "Thief!"

JASPER: "I'm sorry."

Lisa on Ice- Jasper can be seen at the hockey stadium during the riot, savagely beating a spectator with his cane.

Homer Badman - No appearance

Grandpa Vs. Sexual Inadequacy - No appearance

Fear of Flying - No appearance

Homer the Great - Jasper is a Stonecutter, but is seen only during the "We Do" song. We don't know his number.

And Maggie Makes Three - No appearance

Bart's Comet - When the Springfield doomsday whistle sounds, Jasper and Grampa are seated in rocking chairs outside the General Store. They recall the last time they heard the whistle. Later, Jasper is squeezed into Flanders' bunker.

Dialogue:

JASPER: "Tsk tsk tsk tsk.... Trouble a' brewin'."

Deleted Scenes:

At the Retirement Castle, Jasper and the other retirees listen to the news broadcast about the comet's final descent towards Springfield, thinking themselves to be listening to a new Orson Welles gag. They laugh uproariously.

Deleted Dialogue:

JASPER: "Orson Welles is doin' it again. He never gives up!"

Homie the Clown - No appearance

Bart vs. Australia - No appearance

Homer vs. Patty and Selma - No appearance

A Star is Burns - No appearance

Deleted Scenes:

Grampa makes a film for the film festival called What the Pool Boy Saw, an erotic film starring Jasper and a female Retirement Castle resident. In the film, Jasper must scrape the algae off the woman's bottom, and strips off his pink Hawaiian shirt to reveal a tank top, before forgetting what to do next.

Deleted Dialogue:

JASPER: "Ooh, I'm hip to your pitch, hot mama!"

JASPER: "Uh, now what do we do?"

Lisa's Wedding - No appearance

Two Dozen and One Greyhounds - No appearance

The PTA Disbands - In what is probably his best-known appearance, Jasper takes over the teaching of Miss Hoover's class when the Springfield Elementary staff goes on strike. On his first day, Jasper solemnly reads a lengthy list of offences which will lead to corporal punishment. Three of the students become ill from inhaling his ointment fumes, he confiscates everything made out of tin, and eventually sends the class home early because his beard becomes lodged in the pencil sharpener. Later, we see Grampa try (and fail) to extricate the beard from the device.

Dialogue:

JASPER: "Talkin' out of turn... that's a paddlin'. Lookin' out the window.... that's a paddlin'. Starin' at my sandals.... that's a paddlin'. Paddlin' the school canoe... oh, you'd better believe that's a paddlin'."

Round Springfield - No appearance

Deleted Scenes:

Jasper is listening to the radio with other Retirement Castle residents when the informational broadcast is interrupted by Lisa's tribute broadcast to Bleeding Gums Murphy. Confusion ensues.

Deleted Dialogue:

JASPER: "Well who was it? Who was it?!"

The Springfield Connection - No appearance

Lemon of Troy - No appearance

Who Shot Mr. Burns? - Jasper is (barely) visible behind Grampa and Smithers in one shot during the town hall meeting.
