Sideshow Bob Roberts - Jasper attends "Gripe at
the Mayor Night" at the Retirement Castle, and becomes incensed with Mayor
"Diamond" Joe Quimby. Later, he (and a group of other seniors) are wooed by
mayoral candidate Sideshow Bob at the local Krusty Burger. Finally, Jasper can
be seen riding shotgun in what appears to be a Model-T Ford driven by Grampa on
the as-yet-uncompleted Matlock Expressway over the Simpsons home.
Dialogue:
GRAMPA: "What's in it for us?!" JASPER: "Yeah,
give us something we like or we'll ride out of town on a rail!" QUIMBY:
"Well, what do you, uh, people like?" JASPER: "Sleep!" OLD JEWISH MAN:
"Sexy dames and plenty of 'em!" GRAMPA: "Maaaaaaatlock!"
Reference Note: Matlock aired from
1986 to 1995, first on NBC, then ABC. Starring Andy Griffith, the series
concerned elder Atlanta lawyer Ben Matlock's various criminal investigations,
and appealed primarily to seniors.
Treehouse of Horror V - No appearance
Bart's Girlfriend - Jasper is one of the many
townsfolk who chastise Bart repeatedly after he is accused of stealing from the
Church collection plate. Later, he apologizes.
Dialogue:
JASPER: (out a car window) "Thief!"
JASPER: (through the treehouse window)
"Thief!"
JASPER: "I'm sorry."
Lisa on Ice- Jasper can be seen at the hockey
stadium during the riot, savagely beating a spectator with his cane.
Homer Badman - No appearance
Grandpa Vs. Sexual Inadequacy - No
appearance
Fear of Flying - No appearance
Homer the Great - Jasper is a Stonecutter, but
is seen only during the "We Do" song. We don't know his number.
And Maggie Makes Three - No appearance
Bart's Comet - When the Springfield doomsday
whistle sounds, Jasper and Grampa are seated in rocking chairs outside the
General Store. They recall the last time they heard the whistle. Later, Jasper
is squeezed into Flanders' bunker.
Dialogue:
JASPER: "Tsk tsk tsk tsk.... Trouble a'
brewin'."
Deleted Scenes:
At the Retirement Castle, Jasper and the other
retirees listen to the news broadcast about the comet's final descent towards
Springfield, thinking themselves to be listening to a new Orson Welles gag.
They laugh uproariously.

Grampa makes a film for the film festival called
What the Pool Boy Saw, an erotic film starring Jasper and a female
Retirement Castle resident. In the film, Jasper must scrape the algae off the
woman's bottom, and strips off his pink Hawaiian shirt to reveal a tank top,
before forgetting what to do next.
Deleted Dialogue:
JASPER: "Ooh, I'm hip to your pitch, hot
mama!"
JASPER: "Uh, now what do we
do?"
Lisa's Wedding - No appearance
Two Dozen and One Greyhounds - No
appearance
The PTA Disbands - In what is probably his
best-known appearance, Jasper takes over the teaching of Miss Hoover's class
when the Springfield Elementary staff goes on strike. On his first day, Jasper
solemnly reads a lengthy list of offences which will lead to corporal
punishment. Three of the students become ill from inhaling his ointment fumes,
he confiscates everything made out of tin, and eventually sends the class home
early because his beard becomes lodged in the pencil sharpener. Later, we see
Grampa try (and fail) to extricate the beard from the device.
Dialogue:
JASPER: "Talkin' out of turn... that's a paddlin'.
Lookin' out the window.... that's a paddlin'. Starin' at my sandals.... that's
a paddlin'. Paddlin' the school canoe... oh, you'd better believe that's a
paddlin'."
Round Springfield - No appearance
Deleted Scenes:
Jasper is listening to the radio with other
Retirement Castle residents when the informational broadcast is interrupted by
Lisa's tribute broadcast to Bleeding Gums Murphy. Confusion ensues.

Who Shot Mr. Burns? - Jasper is (barely)
visible behind Grampa and Smithers in one shot during the town hall
