JASPER: SEASON 7
Episodes:
Who Shot Mr. Burns? Part 2 - Jasper plays an
integral part in the investigation of the attack on Mr. Burns. It is revealed
that after Smithers left the town hall at 2:55 (five minutes before Mr. Burns
was shot), his drunken stumbling attracted the ire of Jasper, who tried to grab
hold of him and settle him down. The gun-wielding Smithers fired off a shot,
which became embedded in Jasper's wooden leg. Jasper is questioned by the
police at the Retirement Castle (where his room number is revealed to be 26).
Later in the episode, his vintage card collides with the prison van
transporting Homer to jail, allowing Homer to escape, Fugitive-style. At
the conclusion of the episode, Jasper is later visible in Mr. Burns' hospital
room when the identity of the assailant is revealed.
